Types of outcomes
In her book, Continuous Discovery Habits, Teresa Torres defines three different types of outcomes:
Business Outcome
- Business value; how well a business is progressing
- Start with financial metrics
- Business outcomes are often lagging indicators, measuring things after they have happened.
Product Outcome
- How the product drives business value; how well the product drives the business forward
Traction Metric
- Usage of specific features
