I’m thinking through different ways to cite references in notes.
- Citations are linked to the author(s) so I can find all mentions of the author through back links
- Citations are ideally written once and linked to from each note.
- A drawback of this is that I need to open the Bibliography to add a reference, which creates friction.
Here’s an example of how [[Andy Matuschak]] does it on his notes, using APA 6th edition formatting:
