People often do things by mistake and need a clear way to correct them without going through a bunch of hoops. Create a sense of freedom and confidence in users by providing easy ways to back out of a process or undo an action. Exit paths, like a *Cancel* button, should be clearly marked and discoverable. Activities that are not otherwise easily reversed should have *Undo* and *Redo* actions.
